Collection Description

These are mainly images /icons of Hindu gods and goddesses, some in bronze or copper, and others in granite or other stone. In addition to using them to teach about the Hindu religion and its gods, I use them in my Fall 2004 course Religion 325, Sacred Narratives in the Hindu Tradition, to teach about myths and narratives of the gods.
