Description	This is a letter by Adaline Kelsey, dated April, 1979. Dr. Kelsey descibes her academic background and work experience in the US before she became a missionary physician in Asia. She describes her work in China and her travels in Japan. Additionally, she describes the community, people and her accommodations and her apperciation toward the Asiatic life.
Physical Dimensions of the Area Scanned	13 cm x 20.8 cm
Source Characteristics	The letter is in worn condition. It has yellow discoloration from aging, strong folds and even tears from folding. There are also a few stains. The letter is written on blue lined paper with faded black ink in cursive writing.
